Browsing Issue
Step 1 : Check if it's Work / Personal Computer.
Step 2 : Reboot the router.
Step 3 : Check for connectiod,Proxy and Reset the browser.
Step 4 : FIREFOX > Tools > Clear private data > Tick all box's except password > Clear Private data button.
IE6 > Tools > Internet Option > Programs > Reset web settings.
IE7 > Tools > Internet Option > Advanced > Reset.
SAFARI > Open your Safari web browser > Click on Safari in your Safari menu > A drop-down menu will now appear > Choose the option labelled Reset Safari > A warning dialogue will now appear detailing the items that will be removed > Click the button on the dialogue labelled Reset to complete the process > Your Safari browser will now restart automatically.
Step 5 : Ipconfig
Correct Ipaddress Incorrect Ipaddress
192.168.xx.xx 168.xxx.xx.xx
255.255.255.0 255.255.0.0
192.168.1.1 0.0.0.0
=> If its correct go to step 6.
=> If its Incorrect Ipaddress. (Check if TCP/IP is in automatic detect ipaddress)
1 > Reset TCP/IP and Winsock. netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt & netsh winsock reset catalog
2 > Ipconfig.
3 > Manually assign ipaddress.
4 > Ipconfig.
5 > Do a system restore.
6 > Ipconfig.
7 > Refer to Vendor.
Step 6 : Ping Router (Eg : 192.168.1.1)
=> If it Pass go to step 7.
=> If it Fails
1 > Reboot the router.
2 > Disable firewall / Try in safe mode.
3 > Hard reset the router.
4 > Send router (In warrenty)
Step 7 : Ping Website (Eg : 216.239.59.99)
=> If it pass.
1 > Try the ipaddress on IE => If page comes up => Flush and reset DNS. ipconfig flush dns/reset dns
2 > Go to step 8.
=> If it Fails
1 > Hard reset router and check connection username and password.
2 > Try in safe mode.
3 > Try with different router / Send router if in warrenty.
Step 8 : Reset TCP/IP and WINSOCK .netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt & netsh winsock reset catalog
Step 9 : Safe mode.
Step 10 : System restore.
Step 11 : Try with different computer.
