Last missed call
=> To bar the last incoming caller’s telephone number dial 14256 after the nuisance call has ended and confirm that the number is to be barred by dialling **
=> Last Caller Barring does not work on calls where the number was withheld.
=> Make sure there is not an outgoing call bar (OCB) on the account as this will stop 1471 from working.
=> If the finance control department have placed this bar on the account then speak to them so that it can be removed
Last Caller Barring:
If a customer wishes to stop receiving calls from the last person who called, dial: 14258
To confirm they would like to bar calls from that number, advise the customer to press: ** To bar any other numbers, advise the customer to dial 14258 and enter their PIN.
Using this menu, the customer can:
• Review their barred numbers list.
• Add or delete a number on the list. (Maximum is 10 numbers.)
• Change their PIN.
Advise the customer, their PIN is defaulted to 1234 until they change it.
